Biography

Dr. Tao Zhao is a research scientist at Meta at Menlo Park, California, United States. He received his PhD degree in Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, United States in August, 2019. Before that, he received his B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. Dr. Zhao has a broad research interest in networking systems. Currently he is working on software projects on network modeling, network provisioning, and IP address management. He received the Best Student Paper Award in WiOpt 2017. He is also a recipient of the Student Travel Grant to ACM MobiCom 2018.
